To support current and aspiring seed keepers and food growers in their commitments to nourish healthy communities, to care for land and water, and to grow seed diversity. We envision a healthy world rooted in community care for life, land, water, people, and seeds.

Paradigm shift: refers to the paradigm shift from the former rocky mountain seed alliance paradigm of practice to the seeds in common paradigm of practice, including a rebrand and program reformation.

Seed school/grain school - education: rmsa specializes in seed-saving education, which we offer through on-location courses, and starting in 2020, we began live classes virtually. In 2024, we held a mix of online and in person education including 2 multi-day online courses, one online workshop, 3 in person grain growing workshops with partners, 1 seed school in a day and 1 grain school in a day. In 2023, we offered three online courses.: seed school 101, grain school 101, and a milling and baking workshop.
