Roots & Roads partnered with The Learning Community for Loss, Grief and Transition to provide 10 community-based grief workshops serving 107 individuals. Now many staff of community-based organizations, including clergy and lay people, have the tools for what to say and do when encountering a client/parishioner who is experiencing grief.

Expenses: $87K

859 individuals took part in our online virtual education series Carrying our Grief, highlighting topics relevant to end-of-life and bereavement support. These individuals are more knowledgable about how grief manifests, ways to navigate grief and the resources needed to do so.
