Rosie the riveter trust is the official philanthrophic partner of the national historical park.

Public education - the organization preserves park sites across richmond, like the maritime child development center and visitor center, which are key components of the organization's mission and program for public education to teach those within the richmond community and beyond about the rich and important history of the rosie the riveters and the wwii home front. History is shared on site at these locations via collections and memorabilia, text, images, film. Other projects like the betty soskin film project utilize documentaries to pass on the history in a personal and powerful way available for distribution to classrooms and online across the country.
Rosie's service corps - the organization uses "rosie" history to communicate and exemplify collaboration and the value of strength found in serving others. The program's focus is career preparedness educating on career opportunities, goal setting, financial literacy among other skills. Youth have opportunities to attend outdoor activities, trades training, and career education, to build self-confidence and self-awareness for opening up life's horizons.
