MANNA FoodBank serves the food insecure in 16 Western NC counties and the Qualla Boundary (Cherokee tribal lands). MANNA reported that they provide food for 163,000 people, many of whom are children, in Western NC in just one recent month.Since MANNA's original facility in Asheville was destroyed by Hurricane Helene, these grants include $55,000 of the proceeds of our major fundraiser and an additional $3,250 in disaster relief contributions in addition to grants of $2,750 for support of MANNA's routine operations.

MemoryCare provides medical care to about 1,100 dementia patients; along with counseling, suppport and education to about 3,500 family caregivers whose loved ones suffer from dementia. In addition, MemoryCare provides online educational resources to more than 4,000 people.We donated $55,000 from our major fundraiser to support MemoryCare's programs.
