Newark rotary club is a local service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business & professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations & help build goodwill & peace in the world. It is a secular organization open to all persons regardless of race, color, creed, relegion, gender or political preference. Members usually meet on a weekly basis for dinner which is a social event as well as an opportunity to organize work related their goals & special events. The object of rotary is to encourage & foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and in particular to encourage & foster the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service.
