The district is a group of 33 rotary clubs within nebraska linked for administrative purposes. The activities and organization of the district exists solely to support rotary clubs within the distrtict and enhance their efforts in furthering the objective of rotary international.

Administrative support, training and coordination of 33 rotary clubs located in central and western nebraska.
Rotary youth leadership awards is a leadership program. Each year, thousands of young people participate in this program. Young people ages 1330 are sponsored by rotary clubs to attend the event run by the club's district committee.
