To encourage and foster development of acquaintances as an opportunity for service, promote high ethical standards in business, recognize the worthiness of all useful occupations, and consider that each rotarian's occupation is an opportunity to serve society, apply the ideal of service to all aspects of each rotarian's life, and advance international understanding, goodwill, and peace through business men and women united in the ideal of service.
