Rotary international is a worldwide service organization. Rotary international district 5030 is comprised of 52 individual clubs in the greater seattle area.

The District 5030 Foundation Committee disburses funds received from the Rotary Foundation DDF (District Designated Funds), in the form of grants to Rotary Clubs in District 5030. The clubs apply for the DDF grants. In 2023-24, 37 grants were made.
The district provides leadership and other training to clubs and their leaders, as well as to district level volunteers. District leaders also attend training sessions at the zone and international level. A web site is utilized as a resource for club leaders. In addition to this, the district leaders provide leadership through their involvement with the individual clubs.
