Asilomar dance workshop. A yearly weekend workshop of classes with a welcome dance and a formal ball. In classes we learn dance technique formations and ways to improve Scottish Country Dancing taught by invited teachers. All classes and dance events have live music and teachers at the workshop.
Monthly Dances are held once a month featuring dances taught in our local weekly classes. The Valentines Ball is our formal spring dance for local weekly dancers. The Jean Patrick Memorial Dance takes place on Labor Day weekend coinciding with the Scottish Highland Gathering and Games in Pleasanton. All dance events feature paid musicians. Special Events include the Featured Devisor class showcasing dances by a specific choreographer. Annually we send a delegate to the regional Teachers meeting and workshop.
