Veterans who are unable to drive receive a ride from a fellow veteran volunteer driver who understands some of the problems that younger veterans are facing.rsvp's intergenerational program encourages seniors to interact with children of all ages across dane county. Volunteers serve in schools and local neighborhood centers as reading or math tutors, help with special projects, or as computer buddies.group projects/homeworker volunteers meet in groups or work at home to recycle donated materials making handmade items that benefit families and individuals in need. Nonprofit organizations, social service agencies, and schools distribute these items to their clients.rsvp sponsors dane county triad and assists communities in forming their own local triads to provide information and programs to prevent the criminal victimization of older adults. A yearly conference is held with speakers on crime prevention and safety, resource tables and literature.rsvp sponsors a foster grandparents program that provides stipends for low income volunteers who serve.
