Mission
The running industry diversity coalition unites the running industry to improve the inclusion, visibility, and access for black, indigenous, and people of color.
Programs
3 programs
THE COOKOUT is a community event celebrating running culture and fostering connections, with emphasis on inclusive participation and support for underrepresented leaders.
The Running Event (TRE) is a week-long trade show providing education, resources, and engagement through industry sessions, an informational booth, scholarships, board meetings, and fundraising. TRE amplifies RIDCs visibility and impact while delivering mission-aligned community support.
These scholarships offered recipients crucial opportunities to build their networks, gain industry recognition, and pursue long-term career paths within the running industry. As a result, many have chosen to remain in the industry, advanced in their careers, and significantly increased the visibility of BIPOC individuals at an event that previously lacked such representation.
