Riverkeepers Water Advocacy program worked with stakeholders to create incentives based on proven practices to reduce sediment pollution for the Vineyard water quality permit, continued working on development of a water sharing program for times of drought and prevailed in Well Ordinance process to protect public trust natural resources.
Riverkeepers Clean Team program removed over 390,040 pounds of trash and 126 tires in 2024. Clean Team and RR Watershed Cleanup volunteers removed another 19,644 pounds of trash in 33 community cleanups with 840 volunteers donating 2,074 hours of time.
