The purpose of the Ruth Lyons Children's Fund is to support hospitals to provide a pleasant atmosphere for pediatric patients and their families by supplying funding for extra touches during their stay at the healthcare facility.

Children's Medical Center - Dayton, OH Provided the hospital with a $50,000 donation to maintain daily activities and programs throughout the year. Activities include holiday parties, arts and crafts, pizza parties and birthday gifts. In-patient pediatric patients are also given individual gifts to take home upon discharge from the hospital.
