During 2024 S.E.A. Rescue Foundation continued as before with its Northeast Asia based women's and children's emergency relief project for the neediest refugees and displaced persons from China and Korea. During 2023 we again made a number of lengthy stays in the northeastern border area of China and Korea to feed Chinese and Korean orphans and schoolchildren and needy orphans in northern and northwestern China and Korea. Throughout 2023 we were again able to provide an average of 5000 HEBs (high-energy biscuits) per day to a rotating list of orphanages and schools in two locations in China and Korea. We were providing approximately 150,000 HEBs per month during 2022. At an average cost of just US $ .10 per each 400 calorie, vitamin enriched biscuit, we provided over one million nutritious children's meals during 2022. Our proposal to produce High Energy Biscuits (HEB) for orphans in mini factories in China and Korea was necessarily put on hold because of the Covid-19 pandemic. This project hopefully will eventually employ disabled workers to produce the High Energy Biscuits (HEB) for orphans in the immediate vicinity of each HEB mini factory
