SALC organized a Pilgrimage to Native SW (New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah). There were 18 participants 1 retreat leader and 1 staff member on a 10-day journey of learning. Daily pilgrimage programs with our retreat leader and historian visiting several historical sites. The Pilgrimage is a hands-on experience of the historical and cultural teachings of our programs. Guided tours in Mesa Verde National Park Monument Valley Navajo Trial Park, Chaco Canyon World Heritage Site, the prehistoric Acoma & Taos Pueblos and the Healing Sanctuary de Chimayo. Pilgrimage will also include visits to artisan communities of Santa Fe and Old Town Albuquerque.

Anamcara in 2024 is the second year of a two-year program. There were 38 apprentices that continued their journey of discovery focusing on personal spiritual growth and development, deepening the insights learned through the Sacred Art of Living and Dying programs, which are a prerequisite for participation in the Anamcara Apprenticeship. Study groups called Ceili De, met monthly for three hours to engage in discussion or required readings and videos which involve approximately one hour of preparation each week. Apprentices work with seasoned mentors with who they meet monthly to discuss how they are integrating their learning into their personal lives and professional engagements. Graduates of prior Anamcara programs have the opportunity to take program tracks as continued education.
