Safe Embrace

Safe Embraces Rapid Rehousing program offers subsidized housing to survivors of domestic and sexual violence who are homeless or on the brink of homelessness. By addressing homelessness first, we can work through other issues related to domestic abuse, human trafficking, and sexaul assault in a healthy and sustainable way.

Safe Embraces 24-hour Crisis Response Team responds torequests from primary survivors of domestic and sexual violence through our hotline, electronic communication, and by assisting walk-in survivors. This program offered approximately 60 motel nights to primary and secondary survivors and emergency transportation assistance funds during the year.

Safe Embraces Transitional Housing program operates under a scattered site model. The program helps reduce the housing barriers that many low-income/homeless clients face. 98% of clients maintained permanent housing after exiting the program.
