Safe harbor's mission is to provide pathways for individuals impacted by domestic abuse to survive and thrive and to raise awareness of domestic abuse through community engagement and education.
Programs

Housing assistance: safe harbor provides housing assistance to survivors of domestic abuse for up to 24 months. Housing clients receive rent and utilities assistance as well as access to case management and supportive services. 39 households (100 adults and children total) received housing assistance in 2024.
Community services: safe harbor's community services include clinical psychotherapy, case management, legal advocacy, and domestic abuse education. Services are available to survivors in greenville, anderson, pickens, and oconee counties in upstate south carolina. The community services program provided 2,622 hours of direct services to 262 clients in 2024.
Safe harbor has a volunteer program, an education program (including community education/trainings and school-based prevention programming for middle and high school students) and a resale shop that is a combination of programs (providing client needs), outreach, and fundraising.
