The Foundation grant to Safe Harbors was used to bolster the Cornerstone Tenant Services program to provide opportunities for tenants' personal reflection and growth, self-sufficiency, and community connectedness. Also, with the support of the Foundation, they continue to provide a robust schedule of quality programming to tenants. Residents can participate weekly Yoga, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong classes, or they can pursue their wellness goals in the fitness center. The weekly Drumming Circle has become one of their most popular programs, and members have begun performing at Safe Harbor events.Veteran programs are offered every Thursday, as well as the second and fourth Thursday of each month. In addition, the GED program continues to be a success, with more than 33 graduates thus far.
