Occupant seatbelt observation study: safer contracted with pressure research group, inc. (prg) to assist with the new mexico occupant seatbelt observationstudy. As a contractor, safer provides expertise and statewide resources to effectively determine and evaluate survey sites and assist with the analysis process.safer also provides training, evaluation, and support to three new mexico field surveyors by conducting pre/post-survey training meetings. In doing so, saferproduces site data forms, facilitates scheduling, and offers recommendations to prg. Additionally, safer collaborates with prg regarding the annual report designand content and makes it available for statewide distribution.
New mexico law enforcement training program (nmletp): safer has extensive experience in coordinating various training programs for law enforcement.through the nmletp, safer has the capacity to offer a number of trainings to enhance tsdsponsored program initiatives. These law enforcement trainings includestandardized field sobriety test, step, dwi sobriety checkpoint training, and the advanced crash investigation series. Some of these trainings are endorsed bythe nhtsa and all trainings are approved for accreditation by the new mexico department of public safety, law enforcement administration (nmdps, lea).
Bilingual child passenger safety (cps) technician guide: safer developed, produced, and partnered with a national traffic safety publication firm, child safetysolutions (i'm safe) to sell and distribute a bilingual child passenger safety (cps) technician guide (bcpstg). The guide is an educational tool designed to assistcps technicians in instructing spanish only speaking parents and/or caregivers with child safety seat installation assistance.
