Mission

Our mission is to serve and educate children with special needs in inclusive environments enabling them to reach their greatest potential.

Programs

3 programs

Our children's long term support waiver program, provided on behalf of milwaukee county, served 667 children with autism or other severe long-term physical or developmental impairments. Our staff support families both in person and virtually to help empower them to meet the special needs of their children to ensure they remained successfully in their homes and community. Our staff work diligently with the families they serve in order to link them to the services that support and enrich the entire family. The families we served in this program are also encouraged to partake in the family strengthing activites we provide through our family activity center.

Expenses: $1.0M

Our early childhood education program serves children with and without special needs, from six weeks of age through kindergarten. Our classrooms are fully inclusive, allowing children with and without special needs the opportunity to grow, learn and play together. Our high-quality, innovative center is nationally accredited, and state licensed. Our gym, classrooms, indoor and outdoor play facilities are spacious and well-equipped providing children with the opportunity to practice skills across environments. Our preschool and kindergarten teachers are wisconsin dpi licensed in early childhood and/or special education.

Expenses: $1.7M

Our family activity center is a resource for our community of families that have children with special needs. Our weekly programs are for children between the ages of 0-6 years old, and our family events that are on-site and/or off-site are primarily "all ages welcome". The family activity center gets our families with children with special needs out of isolation and around like-minded families.
