Student services and programming: through a four-year residential program, nearly all students (86%) live on campus. Saint john's university's student development programs promote the health, safety, learning, growth, and development of students within the context of community. We are particularly attentive to college men and their engagement and reflection in ways that are consistent with our catholic, benedictine, residential, liberal arts identity and character. The faculty resident program is a distinctive part of campus life, whereby benedictine professors and administrators live in the residence areas and serve as adult mentors.

Auxiliary services: as a rural residential campus, st. John's university operates its auxiliary services to enhance the educational experience by building a sense of community. These auxiliary operations provide services such as housing, food service, and the bookstore.
