Building Fund The Association purchased a building on April 2024 as its main activities center. The building is presently used for administration functions. Upon completing the needed renovation, the Association plan to conduct religious ceremonies, lectures & speeches, and most importantly, provide basic Tibetan language classes for younger Tibetan students. As to minimize the cost of renovation, some basic & labor intensive works are conducted by volunteers. It is expected that the renovation can be finished by the end of 2025.

Expenses: $10K

Outreach Services Since 2013 the Association was approached by Tibetan, Nepal, & Bhutan members seeking help to adapt to living in this country. Typical services such as doctors visit, schooling, jobs seeking, housing, and understanding all kinds of English letters. Beginning in 2017 the need to recruit volunteers to help these new immigrants was apparent. This is the typical older English speaking immigrants help newer immigrants all over US for the past 100 years.

Expenses: $16K

Volunteers are unpaid and expense reimbursements are limited to transportation, supplies and small emergency cash and yet these reimbursements requests were seldom. The need for translation are reducing slowly because members children have slowly grown up to the tasks when the US born children grow up naturally with English speaking capability. Also the 2024 acquired building has provided the place for members meetings which are especially welcome by older members who come just to meet others and derive comfort in socializing.
