Sakyongs Foundation

The dorje kasung operational fund and endowment is an operational grant to assist in the support of the largest volunteer service organization with shambhala that provides protection for the physical spaces, the teachers and teachings and promotes health and well being community care services.

Boulder shambhala center endowment supports the boulder branch of a global network of meditation and contemplative arts centers. There are more than 170 centers and groups around the world, as well as thousands of individual members. Shambhala meditation centers offer courses in meditation and other contemplative arts and disciplines and also host community gatherings, celebrations and family events. In community life, shambhala endeavors to put into practice the principles of courage and compassion. This helps individuals to experience daily life as a constant opportunity for spiritual practice and social service.

The sakyong foundation develops endowments and helps fund projects that provide long-term support for the shambhala vision of enlightened society. Other projects include the sakyong fund, the sakyong wangmo fund, donor-advised funds and endowment funds.
