Communications and public outreach - this includes all expenses associated with social media, marketing, and the graphic design of outreach materials. The importance of public outreach is to increase the public's knowledge of the plight of the salmon through information and education. In 2024, salmon defense fund raised funds for a billy frank jr. Statue in the washington dc national statutory hall to further increase public awareness.
