To provide greater emphasis on working with the youth of the community and to help fund this and other charitable activities of the kiwanis club.

General youth serving programs: the foundation paid grants for youth and family focused health, enrichment, and welfare projects from multiple 501(c)3 organizations including: the ronald mcdonald house, salvation army, san diego burn institute (burn camp), cal-nev-ha children's fund, i love clean san diego, assistance league of greater san diego, just in time for foster youth, ki- children's fund, day, san diego bowl game association, voices for children, foundation for the children of the californias, survivors of suicide loss, project uplift, san diego children's discovery museum, and st. Augustine high school.
Youth leadership and mentoring programs: the foundation paid grants to leadership and mentoring programs from multiple organizations including: laurels for leaders, san diego education fund (for san diego city elementary school counseling programs), and starpal.
