Mission
The San Diego National Association of Hispanic Nurses ("SDNAHN") serves the general public and promotes Hispanic nurses to improve the health of the San Diego Hispanic community. It is the goal of SDNAHN to increase the number of Hispanic nurses in San Diego and to foster positive attitudes towards Hispanic nurse peers, colleagues and patients. SDNAHN values, provides and promotes culturally competent models in health care, professional education and research. SDNAHN provides an important voice for Hispanic nurses and the Hispanic community. SDNAHN members represent their profession and their communities through direct involvement with local health care agencies.Programs are provided free of charge to the participants. Membership is open to the general public without regard to race, religion, gener, age, ethnicity, creed, national origin, color or disability.
