With assistance from the Department of Parks and Recreation and the New Community Leadership Foundation, SFB was an Administrator for the three-year, $1,210,000 Fillmore Turk Mini Park Renovation Project, which was finally completed in 2023. What was once a run down space with trash and aging structures is now a clean new space for citizens to enjoy.
SFB continues to serve as the fiscal sponsor for Refuse Refuse SF (RRSF). RRSF has continued to expand its influence across San Francisco, organizing 911 clean ups in the previous sixth month period alone, with a total of 3,194 clean ups and 12,760 unique volunteers since its founding in April 2021.
