As a media provider, the organization traces its history back to 1896. Today the print publication serves nearly 14,000 homes throughout Northern California. The publication was the first Jewish newspaper to launch a Web site in 1995, and it included all the stories that appear every issue in the printed edition. Today the organization's Web site still provides all the issues for free, along with blogs, videos, photo galleries and more.
