Mission
Senior and Disability Action mobilizes and educates seniors and people with disabilities to fight for individual rights and social justice. More than 1000 people take part in our housing, health care, transit and empowerment programs each year.

SDAs Housing Collaborative is a group of tenants, homeowners, SRO residents, and community advocates, working to preserve and create quality, affordable, accessible housing in San Francisco, by organizing to win change. SDAs Senior and Disability SRO Workgroup brings together residents of Single Room Occupancy hotels and coalition partners to stop speculation and improve living conditions.
Senior & Disability Empowerment Program (SEMP) trains seniors and people with disabilities on community resources in housing, benefits, transportation, and health care, and on community organizing skills, preparing people to advocate for themselves and their communities.
The Community Resource Program helps seniors and people with disabilities navigate the complex web of home and community-based support services, including long-term care that can keep people living at home.
