Mission
The society was formed to maintain a temporary home for animals until adoption to a new forever home and to teach & encourage the principles of kindness and humaneness in the care of animals. The shelter also provides low cost dog and cat vaccines to the public and animal control services to contracted cities.
Programs
1 program
While our services were significantly limited due to the shortage of veterinary personnel, our clinic provides low cost spay/neuter and vaccination services to the general public. Animals needing our shelter care are fully vaccinated, tested for viruses and examined upon intake. Animals are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. Separate dog and cat isolation areas are maintained to ensure animal welfare and comfort.
