Mission
The Sanctuary for Senior Dogs is dedicated to the rescue, adoption and lifelong care of senior dogs abandoned in Ohio shelters. While adoption is the heart of our mission, our programs in include Forever Foster & Hospice for dogs too ill or too emotionally fragile to be candidates for adoption and dogs with exceptional temperaments are trained as therapy dogs that serve the community that supports them. All dogs live in foster homes as part of the family. They all receive the best medical care and force-free, positive training as needed.
