This organization operates in animal welfare. Sanctuary in the South SITS Animal Rescue was founded specifically for the "underdog." Our mission is to provide a safe haven for the injured abandoned abused neglected or otherwise forgotten dogs and occasionally cats! who need us the most through both shelter-and foster-based care. The animals we rescue are saved from local high-kill public shelters stray or abandonment and or owner surrendered at will from at-risk situations.
