Mission

The primary exempt purpose of the Sandhills Cooperation Association is to promote social and economic self-sufficiency in marginalized communities. To achieve this the organization focuses on providing resources tools and inspiration to individuals who are interested in exploring cooperative models and creating sustainable lifestyles for themselves. We offer community conversations and financial education opportunities to help people develop the skills they need to gain economic independence and autonomy. We also work with organizations and businesses to create structural changes toward more sustainable enterprises. Our ultimate goal is to create thriving communities where people have the power to make a positive difference in their own lives as well as the lives of those around them.
