Sandusky Lions Club Fund For The Blind Of Erie County

The fund for the blind of erie county-ohio is a designated publicly supported organization created by the board of directors of the sandusky lion's club. Initially, funded by a large "restricted" bequest to fund and to direct financial assistance for the "sight care" provided to needy and/or handicapped children and adults who are residents of erie county- ohio. Board members (strictly volunteers) of the sandusky lions club also appointed and serve (strictly volunteers) on the board of directors of the fund for the blind of erie county-ohio. No monies move from the fund for the blind of erie county-ohio to the sandusky lions club accounts except to pay back any loans made by the sandusky lions club to the fund for the blind of erie county-ohio when shortages may occur due to expenditures for services that exceeded grants and donations received by the fund for the blind of erie county-ohio.
