Mission

The Sandy Springs Mission is dedicated to helping and inspiring at-risk students throughout the academic continuum. A faith-based 501(c)(3), community-focused organization, we provide year-round academic enrichment programs designed to transform the hearts and minds of the students.

Programs

3 programs

High School Programs: We continued to provide after school enrichment programs to North Springs High School (NSHS) as well as Dual Enrollment Classes for NSHS and Riverwood International Charter School. A total of 100 students were part of this program.

Expenses: $242K

Summer Camps: Elementary and middle school students were able to participate in our summer program. Over 120 students received a combination of academic enrichment programs as well as fun activities. Students were involved in reading, math, and summer bridge activities to help them review what they learned in the grade just completed and look at some of the new topics they will see in the next grade.

Expenses: $86K

Dual Enrollment Program: In addition to expanding to one more high school in 2023, we launched a new initiative to provide dual enrollment classes for high school students in 2023. We launched with 33 students in the fall.
