Mission
The Organization is the local coordinating entity of the Santa Cruz Valley National Heritage Area and serves to connect people to the cultural and historic foundations and the living landscapes of the Santa Cruz Valley and actively works towards its long-term stewardship.
Programs

Shared our mission to 4,000 people at 57 gatherings; installed 4 new interpretive outdoor signs highlighting the areas heritage and nearby experiences; hosted 140 high school students on full-day trips to national park; completed 3 heritage murals; added 4 new Passport to Your National Park stamp collection stations; produced 30-minute episode about the SCVNHA for Discovery Road educational television program.
Stewardship Program: Leveraged 989 community voluteers for nearly 5,000 hours of service; partnered with organizations to remove nearly 30 tons of trash, debris from the Santa Cruz River.
