Stargazer is a pop-up planetarium that can be set up nearly anywhere to ignite interest in the sciences, astronomy, and beyond. Since january 2021, stargazer has reached 33,868 children in northern new mexico counties. Our bilingual educator takes stargazer to k-12 students throughout northern new mexico and delivers a transformative multilingual program designed to teach "stem ready!" science standards appropriate to the grade level of each class. Due to a generous grant, stargazer trips to public and title 1 schools in northern new mexico are free and available for private schools, camps, and other locations for a modest fee.
The children's museum has been organizing excellent day camps in the town for many years. These camps are designed to teach stem and art concepts, as well as practical skills such as coding and carpentry to children aged 5-9. Moreover, the museum offers full scholarships to those who are unable to afford it.
