The foundation awarded more than $5.8 million in scholarships from its endowment, non-endowed funds, and the doyle trust scholarship fund.

The invested portfolio managed by graystone consulting ended the fiscal year at over $71 million.

The foundation produced a celebratory event welcoming dr. Anglica garcia to the district in her new role as the sixth (and first female) superintendent/president of the college in its 105-year history. The srjc foundation secured several notable major gifts, including a $500,000 grant from the richard and saralee kunde fund for the center for agricultural education at shone farm, and a $1.5 million grant from the state's general fund for the fire technology program. In addition, grants from the robert & shirley harris family foundation toward the new student housing endowment enabled fulfillment of the terms of a $500,000 matching grant, bringing the endowment to over $1 million.
