Mission
The mission of the Santa Ynez Botanic Garden Foundation is to provide a unique, accessible and interactive environment, highlighting plants native to the Santa Ynez River Watershed. The garden will encourage community collaboration, forster new approaches to environmental education, and culativate an appreciation of the natural world. As a source of inspriration and information, the garden will be a venue for arts and crafts, and a peaceful refuge for visitors of all ages.

Native GardenThe upkeep & maintenance of the garden allows visitors to learn about native plants in an interactive & educational environment. The garden demonstrates native landscaping for visitors to see. The ongoing development of the garden furthers the mission of the foundation and encourages the public to engage in the space.
Classes & workshopsour workshops and classes were all attended by local youth and school groups providing education about nature and local native plants while engaging the community and youth in nature.
