Mission
Sawhorse Revolution fosters confident, community-oriented youth through the power of carpentry and craft. We team youth with professional carpenters and architects to design and build needed projects for their communities.
Programs
3 programs
COMMUNITY CONSTRUCTION - Sawhorse elevated our community impact build projects with two builds for the Ballard P-Patch and Hip Hop is Green, and a third in the works with Herons Nest. These projects bring our significant construction expertise in collaboration with community to create more needed infrastructure for groups working for a better world, and ensuring that youth are at the forefront of that.
CAREER PATHWAYS - Some of our projects focus solely on building, and in this case we gave opportunities to pursue boat and structure building through smaller projects that put tools in the hands of youth.
