Our DemocraSC Project encompassed all our previous civic education programs: * DemocraSC 101, a short course on the manner in which democracy is practiced in SC, was provided to hundreds of citizens, and shared on line with many more. * Our "Missing Voter Project" that since 2004 works to provide voter education to the majority of the state's minority youth who don't vote, was folded into our 17-year-old * Election Protection project. In 2024 our Election Protection effort printed and distributed to all 48 county NAACP branches, numerous organizations and volunteers: 5,000 "866-OUR-VOTE" signs, 40,000 Voter's Rights cards and Missing Voter Project information. These combined projects mobilized hundreds of volunteers across the state who provided thousands of citizens with voter education and election protection information.

The Grass Roots Organizing Workshop is our headquarters building that is "the intersection of activism, art, and education." GROW houses our school and regular meetings of partner organizations, as well as a regular schedule of cultural programs from Jazz and Blues workshops to poetry reading and round table discussions of issues of current concern. The programs brought in around 2,500 activists, students and music aficionados in 2024, many regulars, but always with new folks who become regulars.
