The purpose of the club is to foster deeper appreciation of canine behavior abilities and gifts by introducing and developing the sport of canine scent work for its members and the community at large It strives to accomplish this by disseminating knowledge and promoting the training of scent work dogs SWCSGF supports the sport by offering practical classes conducting trials and supporting the training of scent work judges
