School Nutrition Association Of Wisconsin Inc

Sna-wi is a core member of the wisconsin healthy school meals for all campaign, an effort to provide universal free meals for all k-12 students in the state. Universal feeding was provided during the covid-19 pandemic but ended in 2022. Key partnerships have begun to form and continue to grow as the effort gains traction.

A new mentor mentee program is up and running for members. About 15 new-to-the-profession participants have been matched with a peer/colleague who has experience to provide guidance, connections to resources, someone to talk to who has done their job before. Pairs meet at least quarterly and the mentor and resource committee provides ongoing support and ideas/prompts for pairs throughout the year.
