SConnect Corporation exists to provide resources, mentorship, and opportunities to students and young professionals from socioeconomically challenged backgrounds, including those from low-income and immigrant families. Our mission is to connect these individuals to community resources and expertise, recognizing that they are often underserved and deserve equal access to higher education and career advancement. Additionally, we support newly established companies by assisting with travel and other administrative needs, empowering emerging entrepreneurs with the skills and confidence to succeed in their professional journeys.
Programs

Monta Vista Science Olympiad Team Sponsorship: In 2024, our organization supported over 30 students on the Monta Vista Science Olympiad teams by covering expenses for construction materials for build events, travel, accommodations, competition-day lunches, and competition fees. This sponsorship enabled students from diverse and immigrant backgrounds to fully engage in STEM competitions, contributing to Monta Vista Purple?s success at the national level, culminating in their Championship win in May 2024. Note: support for this program has been discontinued as of June 2024.
Benchmarking and Workshop Support for Science Teams: In alignment with our mission to provide opportunities for students from underserved communities, we benchmark local, regional, state, national and international science teams and offer support for summer workshops. These initiatives help students from low-income and immigrant backgrounds enhance their STEM skills, stay competitive, and gain exposure to top-tier practices in the field, fostering their potential for future academic and professional success.
