Eliminate euthanasia of adoptable pets in Scott County through cat and dog foster care, vet care, adoptions, public spay/neuter assistance and education.

Animal Welfare Community Services - Provided funding to public to spay & neuter 188 dogs & 198 cats to reduce the number of unwanted animals in the community. Provided emergency pet food meals, free vaccines at six public clinics and vet service financial assistance to needy households. Conducted public education activities.
Operated education & adoption center - Adoption center has temporary holding area for animals until they are ready to move to foster homes, a cat room where up to 18 cats available for adoption are kept, doggie day care for dogs in foster care & public education room. Distributed emergency pet food an average of 100 times/month
