Programs
2 programs
Music In Schools Programming: Our K-8 program model provided during-the-day and after-school music enrichment programs to seven unique external sites emphasizing collaborative music-making and social and emotional learning. These programs were implemented in partnership with local public schools and community-based organizations, often at a reduced cost, to supplement elementary music programs and provide an additional touch point for students unable to participate in traditional school music programs.
Summer Jazz Foundations Camp: This introductory summer camp for beginning musicians in grades 4-8 provided the opportunity for students to access instrumental music, which is often cost-prohibitive to students and families from historically marginalized communities. Hosted in partnership with a local school, the camp served 81 new students, with 60% of them receiving a full tuition waiver.
