At Second Line Arts Collective, we ignite the journey 'From Recess to Record Deals.' Our mission begins with fostering an early love for music and extends to equipping the next generation of musicians with skills for artistic growth and career longevity. SLAC is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians through high-quality music education, mentorship, and career development while preserving New Orleans' musical heritage.

SAANA MUSIC WORKSHOP (YOUTH MUSIC AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT) Educated 40 students in in-person summer music training. Reached 148 additional students online and in person through masterclass instruction. Offered scholarships and sliding-scale tuition to ensure accessibility to all participants.
SAANA MASTER CLASS (PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT) Hosted monthly online workshops featuring industry experts covering financial literacy, marketing, and contract negotiation. Supported emerging musicians in career development and self-sufficiency. Generated revenue to help sustain SLAC's mission and programming.
