Mission

We create programs that foster deep inquiry into the good life and the great work as a way of guiding our students toward personal and planetary thriving. We combine academic rigor and immersive experiences in nature with visual pedagogy, mind-body practices, and a back-to-the-land work ethic. We provide opportunities for learners to take powerful intellectual risks, to expand their capacity for creative thought and action, and to connect meaningfully to their environment. We aim to equip our students with the skills necessary to nourish with wisdom, justice, and joy the communities to which they belong.

ALUMNI PROGRAM:Alumni from various cohorts gathered for our inaugural Seguinland Summer Reunion, a week-long immersive experience designed to rekindle connections, reflect on personal growth, and continue the transformative conversations begun during their gap semester. Hosted on the Seguinland Insititute campus, the reunion brought together students from cohorts spanning 2019-2024, representing a diverse range of colleges, careers, and life paths. Participants engaged in creative workshops, participated in collaborative community projects, and spent time reconnecting with the landscape that initially shaped their Good Life journey.
