Selah

Medical services, along with all of selahs services, are provided at no cost to clients. Medical services are provided by an on-staff nurse manager under the supervision of a medical director, and include pregnancy diagnosis, confirmation of a viable pregnancy via ultrasound, and testing and treatment of the most common sexually transmitted diseases. Client intakes include a holistic risk assessment, whole-person health evaluation, and referrals to community agencies and resources.

Basic material needs are also met through generous community support. Selah strives to help each of our clients not just survive a time of crisis, but to thrive and enjoy healthy futures. Selah helps provide clothing, blankets, food, diapers, and other resources necessary to care for a newborn and growing family. In addition, to help new mothers succeed, education scholarships are awarded each year.
