Seminole Homebase Emergency Assistance Response Team Inc

Project camp was a project funded though a grant from american red cross to provide a spring break camp for children impacted by a natural disaster. In coordination with the central florida ymca and project camp, a week-long, full-day camp was provided to offer stopgap continuity of care for students impacted by disaster. Local volunteers were back ground checked and trained on approaches to trauma informed care and best practices for caring for children after emergencies. Expenses for this totaled $98,131.71.

Seminole heart assisted a client who's home was damaged during the hurricane, due to roofing issues. With funding made available through a grant from volunteer florida, we were able to contract with a roofing company to repair and replace the roof. Expenses for this project totaled $10,748.79.
